Event Booking
Events are booked on a time available basis. We recommend that you reserve as early as possible. University Catering strives to accommodate all requests.

Event Times
Your event start time is the time we guarantee to have your event set up and ready for guests.

Catering requires a 1 hour set-up time prior to the start time of every event and a 1 hour tear down time after the end time of each event.

Delivery Charge
A $20.00 Delivery Charge is applied to all on-campus orders. Off campus orders within 5 miles of campus are charged a Delivery Charge of $50.00. Deliveries beyond 5 miles from campus, will be charged $50.00, plus an additional $3.00/mile of total trip miles.

Final Guest Count
Your final headcount is due 5 business days prior to your event. After this date at 5pm, decreases in headcount are no longer permitted. Increases to headcount and other changes requested after this deadline will be charged a fee of $20/change.

Deposit
A 50% deposit is due at time of booking for all non-university related events. Remaining balance is due 5 business days prior to event date. Deposits are accepted via check, cash, Visa or Mastercard.

Late Booking Fee
There is a late booking fee of $20.00 for any event bookings made within 5 business days of the event.

Late Change Fee
There is a late change fee of $20.00for any changes made to an order within 5 business days of the event.

Cancellation
Events cancelled within 3 full business days prior to the event date will be charged in full.

Bars & Alcohol Service

  • All Bars will close 30 minutes prior to the scheduled end time of the event
  • Catering Management & Bartenders have the right to close a bar at anytime
  • Substantial food service must accompany bar service at all events
  • All Corkage Fee Beer & Wine must be delivered to the Catering Office the day before your event and any leftovers will be available for pick-up the next business day after the event.

Servers
Servers are available for your event and add a special touch for your guests. Depending on the size and type of your event, servers may be required. Servers are available for $15/hour with a minimum of 2 servers per event and 3 hours per server.

Leftovers
For health and liability reasons, all leftover food is property of University Catering.

Late Pick-up
Events ending after 8pm will be charged a $20.00 late pick-up fee, excluding events with servers in attendance.

DUX Express
Dux Express is available Monday through Friday for pick-up at the Catering Office, Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm. Dux Express orders do not include paper products, linens, and tables for food and set-up. Client is responsible for all clean up.

Recycling & Composting
Please contact Campus Recycling at 541-346-2354 or compost@uoregon.edu to request composting & recycling receptacles.

University Catering Waiver Form
